HISTORY:

Born in Sydney, Australia to Mum and Dad. Discovered Drawing at an early age whilst keeping himself amused in the back of his parents cake shop. Soon started drawing cartoons about a cheeky bird named 'Chip'. Also drew many a comic of 'Ghostbusters' and 'Back to the Future'.

In 1990 Steve and his family migrated to the tiny island state of Australia known as Tasmania. For his 11th birthday Steve received some socks and undies, as well as a young border collie pup he named 'Lumpy'. Steve then began drawing a strip called 'Lumpy Dog'.

In 1995 Steve created a comic strip based on his good mate and next door neighbour Dan. This comic still runs occasionly today and is now known as 'Sweet Potato'. In early 2000 Steve then began work on a comic called 'The Operators' which was based around the life of Steve and his drinking mates. From 'The Operators' emerged the now famous 'Slim' which included his character 'Lumpy Dog'. Slim has since spawned a short animated film 'Slim: A Weight Odyssey'

Steve is currently completing his Batchelor of Fine Arts at the University of Tasmania and working as a postman five days a week.
